Campus sustainability grants

The Office of Sustainability now is accepting proposals for the 2013-14 Campus Sustainability Grants Program.

This competitive program provides funding for student-proposed projects designed to advance sustainability through education, research, service and campus operations.

Successful projects will address priorities outlined in UGA’s 2020 Strategic Plan to enhance stewardship of natural resources and advance campus sustainability. Interdisciplinary projects that inspire, beautify and uplift-as well as inform and conserve-are encouraged. Proposals will be accepted from current UGA students and grant recipients will be selected based on merit, positive impact, implementation feasibility and available funding.

The deadline for pre-proposal is Oct. 15 with Nov. 5 being the deadline for a proposal. Grant recipients will be notified Dec. 4, and all project funds must be expended by June 30, 2014.
