Several faculty from the UGA College of Engineering visited China for a joint research meeting with Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

Mark Eiteman, Larry Hornak and James Warnock took bicycle tour of Shanghai.

During their journey to China this week, faculty from UGA’s College of Engineering visited an 88-meter tall Buddha near Changzhou. It’s said that embracing the feet brings good luck. The faculty were from the School of Chemical, Materials and Biomedical Engineering.

Jason Locklin gives a presentation in China. The UGA team is in China for talks on potential collaborative research. They visited the Nanjing Jiangning National Development Zone, home to 54 Fortune 500 companies. The JNDZ is looking to build capacities in life science and biotechnology research.
