Colorado State University’s Board of Governors unanimously voted to ban concealed weapons from its campuses, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.
The policy, which takes effect Aug. 1, applies to both the Pueblo and Fort Collins campuses, and applies even to concealed-carry permits. Exceptions are permitted for military and law-enforcement personnel. A second amendment rights group, Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, has vowed to take the university to court over the policy, the Chronicle reported.
