David Landau, Distinguished Research Professor of Physics and founding director of the Center for Simulational Physics, was appointed to the Academic Advisory Council of the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He is one of 13 council members: seven external members from academia, two external members from the business community and four internal members from Heidelberg University.
Founded in 2006, the Academic Advisory Council advises on strategy for Heidelberg University in connection with its Excellence Initiative.
