David Landau

David Landau, Distinguished Research Professor of Physics and director of the Center for Simulational Physics in the  Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, has received $35,099 from the U.S. Department of Energy via the UT-­Battelle LLC, for the development of spin dynamics (computer simulation) methods for studying excitations in magnetic systems in which the ions are not constrained to be on rigid lattices.
