Linda Campbell, a professor in the counseling and human development services department,
will receive the 2009 Georgia State University Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award on
May 9 for outstanding professional achievements
as an educator and researcher.
Campbell earned her doctorate at Georgia State in 1982 before joining the UGA faculty in 1988. She is a former president of the American Psychological Association’s Division of Psychotherapy and Division of State and Provincial Psychological Association Affairs and is also president of the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
