Mark Ebell, professor in the College of Public Health’s epidemiology and biostatistics department, was recently named the winner of the 2024 Curtis G. Hames Research Award.
The award honors those individuals whose careers over the years exemplify dedication to research in family medicine.
The award recipient is selected by a committee representing the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Association of Departments of Family Medicine and the North American Primary Care Research Group.
This award is supported by the Department of Family Medicine through the MCG Foundation’s Hames Endowment of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.
