Energy expenditure study

Non-smoking, overweight females between the ages of 25 and 45 are sought for a 12-week study to examine the effects of a nutritional product on how many calories are burned when resting.

All testing will be performed by the department of kinesiology. Participants will be asked to incorporate three servings a day of cereal, cereal bars and crackers into their diet while maintaining their normal and activity dietary patterns.

Participants can earn up to $750 with successful completion of the study.

Individuals with metabolic disease, non-breakfast eaters, vegetarians, pregnant women or individuals currently using weight loss medications cannot be accepted for the study.
