Evans and Morphew elected to boards of directors

Athens, Ga. – Two members of the University of Georgia’s faculty and staff were recently elected to the board of directors of their professional organizations.

Annette Evans, procurement officer, was elected to the National Association of Educational Procurement board of directors. NAEP is the national association representing the procurement profession in higher education and affiliated institutes. Its membership includes 4,000 procurement professionals from colleges, research institutions, hospitals and K-12 schools.

Christopher Morphew, associate professor and graduate program coordinator in the Institute of Higher Education, was elected to the Association for the Study of Higher Education board of directors. ASHE is a scholarly society with about 1,900 members dedicated to higher education as a field of study.
