The Cultural Landscapes Lab of the College of Environment and Design will host a lecture by Darrel Morrison, former faculty member and dean of the college from 1983-1993.
The lecture, ”Beyond New Works in New York,” will be held Oct. 4 at 5 p.m. in Room 248 of the Miller Learning Center.
Free and open to the public, the lecture will be followed by a reception in the Founders Garden House.
After 20 years at UGA, Morrison moved to New York City where he has worked as a landscape architect. The lecture will feature his recent work in landscape designs for the New York Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Storm King Art Center and projects in the states of Utah and Montana.
