Hal G. Rainey, Alumni Foundation Distinguished Professor in the School of Public and International Affairs, has been selected to receive the 2008 Dwight Waldo Award.
The highest honor for scholarship conferred each year by the American Society for Public Administration, the Waldo Award recognizes those who have made “outstanding contributions to the professional literature of public administration over an extended career.”
The award will be conferred to Rainey at a ceremony later this month. Rainey is the 29th recipient of the Waldo Award since 1980.
