Historian visits campus April 25-27

Historian Michael Fellman of Simon Fraser University will be on campus April 25-27 to meet with graduate students and participate in discussions of two of his books: Inside War: The Guerrilla Conflict in Missouri During the American Civil War (Oxford, 1990) and In the Name of God and Country: Reconsidering Terrorism in American History (Yale, 2010).

He will give a talk entitled “John Brown: Terrorism in a Slave Society,” April 26 at 4 p.m. in Room 101 of the Miller Learning Center. The event is free and open to the public. He will take part in a panel discussion entitled “The United States of Terror: Three Centuries of World Experience with State-Sponsored Terrorism” April 27 at 4 p.m. at location that will be announced on wsw.uga.edu.
