The Bug Dawgs and the UGA entomology department are hosting the 31st annual Insect Zoo open house April 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lawn of the Miller Plant Sciences building.
Open to the public, the event promotes Athens community engagement and education about various entomology topics, causes and issues. The open house will consist of a variety of games and activities for all ages. Events include a photo booth, live bug exhibits, face painting, arts and crafts, edible insect food, cockroach races and more.
The UGA Bug Dawgs includes volunteers who have a passion to spread awareness of entomology issues and the importance of related topics.
