Jeffrey Jordan, a faculty member in the agricultural and applied economics on UGA’s Griffin Campus and director of the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program, received the Southern Agriculture Economics Association Lifetime Achievement Award-the highest honor bestowed by the association. Jordan was selected for the award based on his commitment to interdisciplinary and applied research in the area of agricultural economics. The award recognizes him for leading collaborative projects in areas ranging from water resource economics to sustainable agriculture.
