Jennifer Graff, an assistant professor in the department of language and literacy education, is one of only two U.S. scholars to receive a research fellowship at the International Youth Library in Munich this summer.
Graff will conduct qualitative research involving international children’s literature and immigration. She also will participate in international research seminars involving local and international scholars and educators.
The IYL Fellowship Program supports research in international children’s and youth literature and illustration and promotes academic exchange and international cooperation. Thirteen scholars representing 11 nations have been awarded fellowships for a period of up to three months.
