The UGA Pollinator Project is hosting its third annual Campus Pollinator Census on April 20 and 21 as part of UGA’s 2023 Earth Day events.
All UGA students, staff and faculty are encouraged to take a mental and physical health break by going outside and counting pollinators on any blooming plant for just 15 minutes. Participation in the census is an opportunity to enjoy UGA’s outdoor spaces while contributing valuable data that guides campus pollinator protection efforts.
The Pollinator Project’s goal is to engage 200 individuals in the census this year. Make an Earth Day Commitment to participate in the census, and consider participating in the dozens of other UGA Earth Day events in April.
