Anneliese Singh, an assistant professor of counseling and human development services, received the 2009 Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development Kitty Cole Human Rights Award.
Singh was honored for her work with a variety of human rights topics including working to end child sexual abuse in South Asian communities, assisting and training counselors on dealing with transgender clients and working to reduce school aggression in early adolescents.
