Lynne Sallot, a professor of public relations, received the 2008 Pathfinder Award from the Institute for Public Relations. The award was presented at IPR’s Annual Distinguished Lecture and Awards Dinner on Nov. 5 at the New York City Yale Club.
She received the $2,000 award for a program of research that has made a significant contribution to public relations. Sallot’s research theme, “Connecting Theory with Research, Teaching and Practice,” focuses on theory development and application.
