Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art will display its 2010 Masters of Fine Arts Exhibition March 19-April 7 in galleries 101 and 307 of the art school.
A gala opening reception for the exhibition will be held on the first and third floors of the art school on March 19 from 7-9 p.m. The art school is located at 270 River Road on the south end of the UGA campus. Galleries 101 and 307 are on the first and third floors of the facility, respectively.
This exhibition marks the culmination of 14 young artists’ education and research into their individual disciplines.
The artists featured in the exhibition are Amanda Bray and Matt Boland in ceramics; Stephanie Blair in fabric design; Stephanie Voegele in jewelry and metals; Kim Deakins, Brian Hitselberger, Robert Peterson and Jessica Wohl in painting; Catherine Bell, Jennifer Desormeaux and Alison Smith in photography; David Calton and Tate Foley in printmaking; and Emily Hadland in sculpture.
