NACADA recognizes two Franklin College staff members

Two Franklin College of Arts and Sciences staff members were recently recognized by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising.

Mike Merva, coordinator of Franklin College’s lower-division academic advising, was awarded the Certificate of Merit of Region 4 Excellence in Advising—Advising Administrator, by NACADA, which is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators and students working to enhance the educational development of students.

Annemarie Hitchcock, academic advisor in the department of computer science, was named winner of Region 4 Excellence in Advising—Advisor Primary Role.
