New University Health Center website provides well-being support

The health promotions department and Fontaine Center of the University Health Center has launched the website Be Well at Home UGA (https://www.uhs.uga.edu/bewelluga/athome) for students and employees working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In collaboration with campus partners, UHC trained dietitians, mindfulness instructors, wellness coaches, health educators and clinicians are sharing ways to stay organized, strategies to wake up feeling rested, virtual workshops and more.

During the month of April, a one-hour live virtual session for graduate students will be held on Mondays at 3 p.m. via Zoom. The first session, “Grad Students: Stress Reduction,” will be held on April 6 and led by guest facilitator Kiz Adams, UGA’s well-being coordinator.

In addition to the website, the UHC staff also will continue to provide opportunities for the UGA community to stay connected, build community and receive support from the team at the University Health Center.

The University Health Center is part of the Division of Student Affairs.
