The news agency Thomson Reuters has compiled a list of likely Nobel Prize recipients. The list is heavily weighted with researchers at U.S. colleges and universities, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.
Reuters’ picks for the next round of laureates, which will be announced beginning Oct. 4, include researchers at Harvard University, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University and Princeton University, among others. The agency’s list of expected winners draws on citations counts from the past 30 years, discoveries or themes worthy of special recognition and the fundamental contributions to fields of study, it reports.
