Sharon Nickols, the Janette McGarity Barber Distinguished Professor of Housing and Consumer Economics, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Board on Human Sciences, which is part of the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities.
The award honors a nationally recognized leader in the human sciences who has a significant history of promoting and advancing the human sciences in higher education. The Board on Human Sciences is an association of administrators of higher education units responsible for research, outreach and teaching programs in the human sciences at state and land-grant universities across North America.
