NYU encourages students to graduate faster to offset rising attendance costs

New York University is tackling its escalating attendance costs by encouraging students to graduate in less than four years, according to a recent New York Times article.

One in five NYU students already graduate in less time than it normally takes to earn a traditional undergraduate degree. One year at the university can cost upwards of $65,000, including tuition, fees, and room and board.
