Paul Roman, director of the Center for Research on Behavioral Health and Human Services Delivery at UGA’s Institute for Behavioral Research, has been named to the national Blueprint for States Policy Panel, a group that will examine alcohol and drug problems in the U.S.
The panel, chaired by Michael Dukakis, former Democratic presidential nominee, will help determine which state organizational and financial structures most effectively support policies to treat and prevent substance-use problems, which affect an estimated 37 million Americans.
