Princeton University has expanded one of its programs to include family-friendly benefits to graduate students, reports The Chronicle of Higher Education.
As a part of the program, Princeton will offer three months of paid leave to birth mothers and an extra semester to complete studies for primary caregivers, both male and female.
Other benefits, such as free counseling and need-based child care grants, are a part of the program.
According to the university, the program was created in hopes of attracting more women to careers in higher education.
