Ruth Bettandorff, named Outstanding Adult Educator

Ruth Bettandorff, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of the UGA Gwinnett Campus, has been named an Outstanding Adult Educator in Georgia by the Georgia Adult Education Association.

GAEA is a statewide association serving adult educators from all segments of the profession including colleges and universities, corporations, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. The award, presented to Bettandorff at the association’s annual meeting in June, recognizes extraordinary contributions on a long-term basis that have an extensive impact on adult/continuing education.
