A new incentive program that will pay students $500 if they are scheduled to graduate on time will be offered to students who begin school this fall at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. The program, called the Finish in Four Scholarships, will pay the students during their last semester in school. The university’s chancellor also announced that the school plans to offer $1,000 to $2,000 scholarships to its professional and graduate schools for students who complete their undergraduate studies on time and enroll directly in graduate school.
