Tate Student Center Theatre announces spring semester movie schedule

Athens, Ga. – The University Union Student Programming Board at the University of Georgia has announced the spring semester movie schedule for the Tate Student Center Theatre.

Films, dates and times are as follows:

• “The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters” (2007), Thursday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m.
• “Gone Girl” (2014), Friday-Sunday, Jan. 16-18 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
• “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (2001), Thursday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m.
• “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” (2002), Thursday, Jan. 22 at 9 p.m.
• “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” (2004), Friday, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m.
• “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” (2005), Friday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m.
• “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” (2007), Saturday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m.

Admission to all films is $2, or $1 for students with valid UGACards who pay activity fees on the Athens campus. The Harry Potter films are double features, with tickets for both films each evening at $4, or $2 for students.

Films are chosen by students who serve on the executive board of the Cinematic Arts Division of University Union.
