College applicants across the nation have missed deadlines due to technical problems with the Common Application.
Common Application, which provides a standardized first-year application for hundreds of colleges in the U.S., has been fraught with glitches during the fall application season including issues with submitting documents and having portions of college essays deleted, according to Insider Higher Ed.
The glitches have forced some universities and colleges, including Georgia Tech and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, to push back application deadlines.
