The UGA-FORSALE listserv will no longer be administered by Staff Council, but will continue under the guidance of four volunteer administrators.
The administrators will moderate the list and approve potential posts before releasing them.
This review capability should eliminate all violations to the list, but will also mean posts will not be released immediately, but should usually be released the same day. Review of all postings began Sept. 8.
Staff Council voted for the separation Aug. 6 as a result of the number of violations to the listserv’s rules, which strictly follow UGA’s computer use policy.
A list of the rules for posting to UGA-FORSALE can still, however, be found on Staff Council’s Web site, at www.uga.edu/ugasc/lists/uga_forsale_guidelines.html.
