Four candidates for the position of director at the UGA Press will visit campus between March 28 and April 24.
A search advisory committee, chaired by Toby Graham, deputy university librarian, conducted a national search to identify the finalists.
Candidates will make a public presentation to the university community in addition to meeting with administrators, UGA Press staff, members of the search advisory committee and numerous stakeholders during their visits. The presentations will take place in the auditorium of the Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries.
The candidates, their presentation dates and times are: John McLeod, assistant director and sales and marketing director at the UGA Press, March 28, 9:50-10:50 a.m.; Henry L. Carrigan Jr., assistant director and senior editor, Northwestern University Press, April 11, 10-11 a.m.; Kathryn Conrad, interim director, University of Arizona Press, April 17, 10-11 a.m.; and Lisa Bayer, marketing director and regional trade editor, University of Illinois Press, April 24, 8-9 a.m.
