Athens, Ga. – A reception honoring President Michael F. and Mary Adams for their service to the University of Georgia will be held April 24 from 4-6 p.m. in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall. This event is open to the public, and members of the university and Athens area communities are invited to attend.
A short program will be held at 4:30 p.m. and will include a UGA student, faculty member and staff member offering thanks to the Adamses and remembering their service to UGA.
Adams will be stepping down June 30 after 16 years as president of UGA.
Parking will be available in the Tate Student Center parking deck as well as the North Campus parking deck.
