University of Georgia to host Law School Fair

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Pre-Law Advising Program invites UGA students and alumni to attend the annual Law School Fair Nov. 4 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the fourth floor rotunda of the Zell B. Miller Learning Center.

The event will offer students considering law school the opportunity to meet directly with recruiters from more than 75 law schools. Some of the schools represented include Boston College, University of California-Los Angeles, Case Western Reserve University, Duke University, Emory University, University of Georgia, Georgia State University, George Washington University, Loyola University-Chicago, Mercer University, Ohio State University, Penn State, Vanderbilt University, Villanova and Washington and Lee University. Registration will be in the east wing entrance of the rotunda. Students will be required to show a UGACard. Dress is professional/business casual.

About the Pre-Law Advising Office
The Pre-Law Advising Office provides timely and accurate advice to students considering application to colleges of law. The office works with students of all academic majors to explore the possibility of attending law school, move through the application process and prepare for law school and the legal profession. The program provides assistance and support through pre-law orientation sessions, workshops, individual advising appointments, personal statement/application essay critiques, a resource library and law school fairs. Approximately 86 percent of the 435 UGA students applying to law school in 2012 were accepted to an average of three law schools. For more information, see http://prelaw.uga.edu.
