University’s 31st annual Education Abroad Fair to be held Sept. 21-22

UGA will host the 31st annual Education Abroad Fair for students on Sept. 21 from noon to 5 p.m. and Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Grand Hall on the fifth floor of the Tate Student Center. Education abroad is a general term covering everything from traditional study abroad to interning, working, volunteering and conducting research abroad.

Organized by the Office of International Education, the fair will feature 80 exhibitors showcasing programs led by UGA faculty and/or at UGA residential centers, as well as programs run through international partner universities and external providers. The fair is free and open to the public.

Coinciding with the fair is a workshop for faculty and staff interested in starting a new study abroad program, or those interested in enhancing or simplifying an existing program. The workshop will be held Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in
Room 480 of the Tate Center. Faculty and staff are welcome to come for just a portion of the event, but registration is required for all attendees. Register at http://goo.gl/forms/69C6k7YDzF.
