‘Vet School for a Day’

Registration for the College of Veterinary Medicine’s “Vet School for a Day” program is Aug. 11-Sept. 12.

The event, which is Sept. 28, is held on the college’s main campus and educates high school juniors and seniors about the variety of careers in veterinary medicine. Students from throughout Georgia and South Carolina are encouraged to attend. Registration, which is required, will end Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. All students must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (parent, counselor or teacher). Students attend for free, but to help offset the cost for food there is a $15 per person fee for each chaperone; the fee is due Sept. 28.
