The second annual UGA Volunteer Fair is set for 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Tate Student Center Plaza. The event exposes students to volunteer opportunities with service groups, nonprofits, social service and government agencies in the Athens area.
Agencies scheduled to attend include the Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education, Hemophilia of Georgia, Bike Athens, the Sexual Assault Center, Court-Appointed Special Advocates, AIDS Athens, Athens Canine Rescue, Athens Tutorial Program, Sandy Creek Nature Center and the Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department/Memorial Park.
