Planning for former U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s visit to UGA for the conference, “Lessons for the 21st Century,” is growing by the minute, and a new Web site is chronicling the action.
With new speakers announced each week the Carter Conference is more than a retrospective. Carter presided over a nation in the grips of dealings with the Middle East, rising gas prices and many more issues relevant to today’s political landscape.
Visitors to the Web site can find up-to-the-minute news about the conference as well as information about how to register for entry. The conference runs Jan. 19-21 at UGA.
