Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Department of Campus Life will hold its annual winter activities fair on Jan. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall. The fair is designed to encourage students to become involved in campus and community activities through the Center for Student Organizations.
More than 150 of the university’s more than 630 registered student organizations are expected to staff booths at the fair in order to provide information and recruit new members. Admission is free and the fair is open to students, faculty and staff and members of the Athens community.
According to CSO director Joshua Podvin, CSO believes that students who are actively involved in campus life will find their experiences at the university to be more satisfying and successful.
