MEDIA ADVISORY
Minority undergraduates present posters tomorrow
as part of UGA summer research program
Students from historically underrepresented groups are currently on campus working closely with faculty through the Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP). The program gives undergraduates firsthand exposure to graduate school and faculty life by placing them with instructors whose work is closely related to the student’s academic interests and career goals.
On Tuesday, July 29, SURP participants will present research posters in the Hill Atrium at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education from 8 a.m. to noon.
