$100 million anonymous gift waives tuition for Yale music students

Thanks to the contribution of an anonymous source, Yale University School of Music students will have their tuition waived starting next fall. The donation of $100 million initially will be used to cover tuition and stipends for the students enrolled in the two-year program, and the money will later be used to expand the music program at Yale. Thomas C. Duffy, dean of the graduate school of music, would not disclose any information about the source of the donation.
