UGA Griffin campus hosts UGA Spirit Day

Griffin, Ga. – The University of Georgia Griffin Campus invites prospective students and their families to UGA Spirit Day on March 22 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Attendees can have their photo taken with Hairy Dawg from noon-2 p.m.

UGA Spirit Day is an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the Griffin Campus and academic programs. There will be campus tours, a UGA trivia game, refreshments, family activities and more.

“This is a great opportunity for students to speak directly with faculty and program coordinators, as well as obtain information on specific programs and admissions requirements,” said admissions counselor J.L. Wyatt. “UGA-Griffin is known for personable instruction with world-renowned faculty, providing students with a small college atmosphere while earning a UGA degree.”

UGA-Griffin offers undergraduate degree completion programs in general business, biological science, consumer economics, environmental resource science, food industry marketing and administration, microbiology, special education and agribusiness, as well as two new interdisciplinary studies degrees in psychology and sociology, to students who have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework. In addition, the campus offers graduate degrees programs in math education, agricultural leadership, student affairs leadership and workforce education.
