This year’s symposium for the Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities is scheduled for April 12-13. Undergraduates are encouraged to apply to participate.
Abstracts from earlier symposia and the new application are available on the CURO Web site, www.uga.edu/honors/curo/.
Abstracts are due by Jan. 16. Last year, 135 undergraduates and their research mentors participated in the symposium.
The symposium will include recognition of this year’s winners of the awards for excellence in undergraduate research mentoring, for which nominations are now being accepted.
Awards are given to individual faculty members, to programs and to departments. Details are available on the CURO Web site. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 23.
