The Center for Teaching and Learning will hold a Second Life Introductory Workshop on Sept. 13 from 2–3:30 p.m. in Room 372 of the Student Learning Center.
The workshop will discuss the rapidly growing virtual world and how it can be used for educational purposes. It also will introduce new users to avatars, terraforming and 3-D modeling, while exploring some of the exciting educational destinations that have been created in Second Life. The class will visit the virtual Sistine Chapel and experience a simulated tsunami.
