Dates, times and locations have been announced for fall’s Lunch-and-Learn financial education seminars, presented by the family financial planning program in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and sponsored by Staff Council and the Georgia Federal Credit Union.
All sessions will be held at noon on Tuesdays beginning Oct. 9 at the Chicopee Building auditorium. Each presentation will last approximately 40 minutes with time for questions. Class dates and topics are: Oct. 9, “All About Credit Scores”; Oct. 16, “Protecting Against Identity Theft”; Oct. 23, “Managing Credit and Debt”; Oct. 30, “Flexible Spending Accounts: How They Can Benefit You”; Nov. 6, “How Much Should I Be Saving for Retirement?”; Nov. 13, “Retirement Savings Accounts: Which is Best for You?”; and Nov. 20, “Basics of Investing: What You Should Do Before You Invest.”
