Nominations for the Outreach Scholarship W. K. Kellogg Foundation Community Engagement Award are due Jan 3.
This award recognizes outreach/engagement partnerships that exemplify the description of engaged institutions found in the Kellogg Commission on the Future of State and Land-Grant Universities’ report “Returning to Our Roots: The Engaged Institution.” The nomination must include a community partner.
Award winners will be announced at the 2008 Outreach Scholarship Conference at Penn State University and will receive up to $9,500. In addition, award winners will be considered for the national C. Peter Magrath Community Engagement Award (to be presented at the 2008 NASULGC conference).
