The School of Law’s Environmental Law Association will host its 20th Annual Red Clay Conference April 4. This year’s theme is, “Can Red Clay Go Green? Adapting Law and Policy in the Face of Climate Change.”
The event, which starts at 8:30 a.m. in Dean Rusk Hall, is open to the public.
The conference will include panel discussions on topics such as climate change law and policy, the environmental impact of climate change and energy policy, the potential of an alternative renewable source of energy in Georgia and the Southeast, and new opportunities in the private sector generated by climate change.
