The Child and Family Policy Initiative, coordinated by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government, will host a fall symposium Oct. 13 in Athens to explore children and the criminal justice system.
Researchers, practitioners and students from diverse fields are encouraged to submit 500-word research-based and best-practice proposals for presentations, panels and poster sessions for the statewide symposium entitled “The Prison Pipeline: The Intersection of Childhood and the Criminal Justice System.” The deadline for submissions is May 1.
