The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is looking for a part-time editor to begin work immediately on the self-study document that will be assembled for UGA’s expected re-affirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Members of UGA’s Compliance Team are currently working to gather required materials and draft this document, which will be presented to SACS in both electronic and print forms in early fall 2010.
The editor’s role will be to assure that the final document is effective, consistent and highly polished. The editor will need excellent written communication skills, experience in organizing and presenting material in both print and online formats and a broad understanding of the university’s mission and structure. Current or retired faculty or staff interested in this temporary assignment (or re-assignment) should contact Allan Aycock, aaycock@uga.edu, at the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
