The Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach is seeking nominations for the 2010 Scholarship of Engagement Award.
The deadline for nomination submissions is Nov. 5.
The annual award recognizes a tenured associate or full professor who advances civic engagement through the scholarship of engagement and by providing service-learning opportunities for students.
The award provides the recipient with a $5,000 faculty development grant to support outreach and engagement projects.
The first Scholarship of Engagement Award was presented in 2008.
